Deux Chez

Deux Chez (Andy Dushey) is a guitarist and music producer delivering electronic tracks brought to life with live instrumentation. Andy’s music production journey began in the pre-digital age, where he used 4 and 8 tracks to create layered compositions on cassette tapes. As a teenager, Andy learned acoustic and electric guitar, mixing those live instrumentals with keyboard, synthesizer and environmental found sounds that he recorded. This humble start grew into punk band tours in college, 7 years in the music industry working with international and independent artists, and an album on Spotify and all other Digital Music Services. His music tastes and experiences have always encompassed a broad spectrum- as a child raised in 80s sounds, a punk & grunge guitarist, an avid concert goer, a performer of ancient middle eastern melodies, and an electronic beat producer- a history of sounds that reverberate and pervade Andy’s tracks. Now a working family man who produces his craft and life’s passion during off hours- through the late night and early morning. His current work includes original electronic remixes of ancient Middle Eastern melodies- “Halabeats: The Sephardic Remix Project” and a collection of new Indie-Electronic & Chillwave tracks inspired by elements of 80’s ambiance, 90’s grunge/grit, EDM hooks and a punk attitude. Andy’s innovative approach, tireless work ethic, and keen talent keep him consistently ahead of his time.
